What this service demands
Seawater is the hardest ordinary environment a piping material faces. Chloride pitting and crevice corrosion, not general wastage, are what end a line. Cupro-nickel resists both and suppresses biofouling; super duplex carries the higher pressures with a PREN comfortably above 40.
